Enter the title of the task or a part of the title into the empty field. The tab will expand and you will see a list of tasks that meet the search. Choose the right task and click it. Please note that the search can work for all tasks or only between events if Events module is activated in your environment.

To see the list of all tasks that meet the search with more detailed information on each of the tasks, enter the keyword and click “Find”. You will get a table listing the tasks. You can modify the display of table fields by clicking the “wheel”.

If you frequently perform search by the same word, save it as a template. For this, enter the search word, click the arrow next to the word “Find” and click “Save as template”.

In the tab that opens up enter the title of the search template and click “Save”.

Beedo logo 80x65.png How to use the member filter?

The member filter is visible in all BeeDo modules. When using this filter, you can see the details of one or several employees at the same time. You can choose the type of filter you want to see – either simple or advanced. For this, go to the BeeDo settings “Filters”.

To expand the filter, click the member name or the arrow next to it.

Simple filter. To filter the details of one or several members, enter the his/her name or e-mail address. The system will suggest list of people that match the query. When you find the one you want, click the member name for selection and highlighting. To see the details, unmark other members and click “Save”.

To view the details of several people at the same time, find all the members you want and click “Save” – the details of all the marked persons will be filtered. In this case, the filter field will show you word “Members” instead of the name of a particular person. Next to it, there will be a number – it denotes the number of persons the details of which you view.

Advanced filter. If you use the advanced filter and want to view several people at the same time, use the search field to find the persons you want and click “Show all”. To view the details of one member, expand the filter and click the name of the person you want.

  • Find employees by using the filter search field. To include employees into a group, tick the box next to their name.
  • When you are done ticking, enter the group name into “Name of the Group” – use the name which clearly depicts members of the list. When the name is entered, click “Save the group”.
  • Your new group will appear in the list. There will be a recycle bin symbol next to the group name – you can delete any group from the general list by clicking this symbol.
  • It is not allowed to edit the name or composition of the group. However, you can create several groups with different names for the same or changed set of persons. So, to change the name of the group or to add a new person to the group, create a new group and delete the old one.
  • The group can be selected by clicking its name. To keep the data filtered, do not forget to click the “Save” button.
  • By default, the system filters data of the first person on the list. You can select another member of the group by clicking arrows “Forward” and “Backward” next to the person’s name or by expanding the filter and choosing the person you want.
  • The number next to the person’s name shows the total number of members in the group.
  • To see the data of all members of the group at the same time, click “Show all”.

Beedo logo 80x65.png How does the date filter work?

15duk.png

The date filter is integrated into modules of Tasks, History and Plans. To view data of a certain period, find the date filter and click it. A table will expand where you can choose:

  • This week – to view data of the current week (from Monday to Sunday);
  • Last week – to view data of the previous week;
  • Next week – to view data of the next week;
  • Yesterday – to view data of the previous day;
  • Today – to view data of the current day;
  • Tomorrow – to view data of the following day;
  • This month – to view data of the current month from the first to the last day of the month.

When you select one of the options above, the system will show you data without requesting any additional actions. To set any other period, enter the first and the last day of the period in the date fields below the filter table and click the “Show” button. To close the filter, click “Cancel”.

In the working time history report, you can filter the past periods only. So, don’t be surprised when you see “Last month” when you open the filter. In the Plans module, the data are filtered by weeks. You cannot select only one day. Also, when you select a particular period, the system will show the date in full weeks (if the month starts on Wednesday, the data provided will cover Monday and Tuesday as well).
